Craig has been a resident of the western suburbs of Chicago since birth, and his family now resides in Aurora. He studied Applied Computer Science at Illinois State University and began his Technology career in 1999 as a Facilities Engineer in Telecommunications. Shortly after the “Dot Com” bubble burst in 2001, the telecom industry crashed leaving Craig and a half million others searching for work. It was then that Craig decided to apply his knowledge of sound and electronics to his passion of design.
Craig built Audio Simplicity, Inc. in 2004 and began as a residential and commercial audio integrator. Within a year’s time he added video integration into his services. Over the next few years Audio Simplicity would be responsible for the media design of several Houses of Worship, bars and restaurants, schools, and residential homes. In 2008 Audio Simplicity was awarded the opportunity to assist with building the Smart Home exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. In 2009 Craig and his team designed and implemented the stunning lounge at the Kerasotes Icon Theatre in the South Loop.
In 2011 Craig merged with a large Hospitality and Commercial Audiovisual company and became the Director of Installations. He and his team were responsible for McDonald’s Corporate Office projects such as the Mac Boardroom, SMART classrooms, auditoriums, and the conference center. He has designed, renovated, or retrofit ballrooms, screening rooms, and lounges/bars for 5-Star hotels by The Irvine Company, Montage Hotels and Resorts, Meritage Hotels, and the Marriott Autograph Collections.
In 2015, he returned to entrepreneurship and began building his brand, ASI ProSolutions. ASI is the culmination of the audiovisual experiences he and Erik Corrigan have had throughout their careers. This exciting new chapter has led the team to exciting opportunities in designs for luxury homes, corporate meeting spaces, office collaboration “huddle” rooms, and much more.
